KRR was notified of a pack of stray dogs that had a run in with a porcupine and didn't fare so well. The good Sam that was feeding them reached out for help. They were caught and taken to the vet for quill removal (under anesthesia of course). Duncan was severely dehydrated and needed IV fluids but did just fine. He is heart worm positive and will go through treatment in November. He is a super, super sweet boy that only wants to love you for love in return. He absolutely cannot be crated as we have discovered he can escape Ft. Knox. He is very well mannered in the house and is good on a leash. He may do better with a friend (and DeLaney is his best friend). Otherwise he just wants to be by his human.
