Deserted in the country full of milk and no puppies in sight, Sweet Sally, an American Staffordshire Terrier, weighed in at only 22 pounds. She was taken in, fed lots of good food, given lots of love and now she weighs a wonderful 58 pounds. She is the most gentle and best mannered dog they have ever seen. She is great with the foster homes' doxies. She is house trained, obeys commands, shakes hands, is not food aggressive (even after being starved). Sweet Sallie is so good about food that she won't even take a treat from your fingers, it has to be held in the palm of your hand to make sure she doesn't accidently nibble your fingers. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. It is estimated she is about 4 years old. Sally cannot tolerate the heat or the cold so being inside with her humans is a must. She's cautious of strangers but doesn't even bark at the mail man or meter reader. She has been around kids of all ages and is always very gentle. She's learning how to play with toys, loves chewing on hooves and loves sleeping under covers in her doggie bed.  No cats! Please consider giving Sweet Sally a furever home where she will be loved all her days.
