Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue!  We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Adam came to rescue in an interesting way. He had been at the Lytle, TX pound, was adopted but kept jumping the 4' fence to play with other dogs so he was returned. He was just lonely! On Good Friday his wonderful shelter manager put out a plea that he was out of time. The Pet Expo was on Saturday so I asked if he could come. He was a perfect gentleman all day!!! Several people walked him around the event including an 8 year old. When he was tired he went to sleep right in the middle of the booth without a care. He did not get adopted that day and I just couldn't let such a good dog go to heaven so he came home to KRR!  He incorporated well into the rescue house. He LOVES all the pups and they roll and play all day. He does get a little protective over a bone so we just have quiet time for bones. He knows the dog door and has had no issues with housetraining. He would love to sleep in the big bed but there just isn't enough room so he took over the recliner. Please consider adding Adam to your home. He really is an incredible dog.
